Finally, Spring has arrived here in the Midwest.

Trees are budding, flowers are in bloom. We've even topped 80 degrees - if only for one day. Time to get out and enjoy the beauty all around us.

Let me start with, I'm not usually a huge orange fan. However, these lilies were just so pretty I couldn't resist. This shot was actually the original shot (followed up by the previously posted one). I still love this one more due to the soft lighting. Some weeks just require an extra shot of happy color.

I promise all posts won't be orange lilies! =)

To even things out a bit, this is a shot from my trip to Ohio.

I just love the texture of that palm trunk.
